Properties
  • ● Vertical drain
    • - Made by arranging 4 strings of coconut rope equally into 2 layers of jute filter and combining each rope with others lengthwise
    • - Width 90mm (±15mm), Thickness 9mm (±1.5mm)
  • ● Horizontal drain
    • - Mat made of two layers of jute filters and five layers of coconut skins
    • - Width 350mm, Thickness 50mm
  • ● Low drain efficiency and poor material properties
  • ● Difficult to control the time for decomposition
  • ● 4 strings of rice straw of which average diameter is 7.8mm are used as a core of the drain and covered with jute filter, so the entire width is 90mm
  • ● Made by plaiting 5 strings of rice straw of which the average diameter is 7.8mm, a circular-type drain is also available
